Join Our Expanding Fire Risk Assessment Team in the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys field-based work, wants to build a professional career in fire safety, and is motivated to learn. Whether you have some experience in fire safety, come from a utilities or health & safety background, or are looking to develop practical skills in a safety-critical environment, this could be an excellent entry route into the profession.
We’re looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our North West team, covering areas around Cheshire and wider counties.
Location: Around North West England (travelling across Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside)
Contract: 2-year fixed term or Permanent contract available
Salary: £27,000–£30,000 + Company Car
Hours: Full-time, field-based role (some nights away from home required)
What You’ll Be Doing- Visiting multiple sites per day to support fire risk assessments at electrical substations, mainly within urban/suburban areas
- Recording data and observations using app-based systems
- Working independently while supported by our dedicated safety and management teams
- Supporting the delivery of accurate, high-quality fire risk assessments in line with UK safety legislation
- Undertaking 3D imaging scans of each site (full training will be provided)
- A full, UK manual driving licence (essential)
- Comfortable with lone working and being on the road up to 5 days a week
- Confident using mobile technology and digital reporting tools
- Reliable, self-motivated and safety-conscious individuals
- Awareness or basic knowledge of fire safety, utilities, construction, or health & safety practices
- Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment, NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided
- Previous experience in fire safety, utilities, or health & safety is welcome.
- A competitive salary of £27,000 – £30,000 per annum

- Health and Safety Awareness Course (CSCS Card)
- Candidates must be willing to obtain Authorised Person (Access) training in order to facilitate substation access.
