Quality Manager / QHSE Manager, £60K - £65K, Commutable from Leicester, Derby, Nottingham

This Quality Manager / QHSE Manager job is 90‑95% focused on quality management, 5‑10% health, safety, and environmental management so could suit a Quality Manager or QHSE Manager or Quality, Health and Safety Manager with a manufacturing or engineering background.

• You will have previously worked in a Quality Manager, Quality, Health and Safety Manager, QHSE Manager role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge and experience of ISO
  9001 quality management, additional experience of ISO
  14001 is advantageous.
• We are looking for a Quality Manager that can understand the ethos, culture and values of a SME UK manufacturing business and drive QHSE (specifically quality management) to align with the business, not the other way around.
• A strong focus on building strong internal and external relationships (customers, supplier, internal engineering, manufacturing & supply chain teams) and taking ownership of driving quality management best practice throughout the business.

• Take ownership and lead on Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental strategies, processes, policies, and procedures (ISO
  9001, 14001 and specific industry standards).
• 90‑95% focus on quality management with a strong focus on supplier, manufacturing, and customer quality.
• Leadership and ongoing development of small team (3 people – Quality Engineer and Quality Technicians).
• Develop strong working relationships with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to influence quality management best practice throughout the business.
