Production Operative Temporary

Position: Production Operative (Permanent, Temporary)
Location: North West Leicestershire

Key Responsibilities:

* Producing timber frame panels according to production schedules.

* Operating on a semi-automated manufacturing line, handling materials from cutting to finished product.

* Cutting materials, inserting insulation, stapling, and fitting lifting straps.

* Using hand and power tools (nail gun, drill, hammer, tape measure).

* Assembling wooden frames following technical drawings.

* Performing quality checks on finished products.

* Wrapping and preparing products for transportation.

* Rotating across different workstations to gain skills and knowledge.

* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures.

Requirements:

* Previous factory or manufacturing experience preferred.

* Ability to read and follow technical drawings.

* Experience using hand tools and power tools.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* A good team player with a strong work ethic and reliability.

* Own transport due to shift pattern.
