Life Enrichment Assistant – Memory Care

Western States Lodging Management and Development is seeking a full‑time Life Enrichment Assistant to join our Memory Care event planning team. We offer a competitive wage of $17.50‑$19.60 per hour, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The schedule includes at least one weekend day. Typical hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with 32‑40 hours per week.

• Plan and implement recreational, physical, social, cultural, and religious events for Memory Care residents.
• Organize special seasonal events to celebrate resident milestones and holidays.
• Develop genuine relationships with residents through daily interactions.
• Plan, implement, and demonstrate crafts with creativity for residents.
• Drive residents to outings using the company car or a 13‑passenger bus.
• Assist in developing and producing monthly calendars, newsletters, and other administrative duties.
• Teach exercise classes to the residents.
• Answer phones at the front desk during concierge lunches.
• Serve snacks and drinks during happy hour and special events.
• Maintain a clean workspace for activities.

• 21 years or older.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid Training within a specific timeframe of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with residents, families, and the general public.
• Ability to make presentations to a variety of groups.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and implement a varied program of social recreation, cultural, and religious activities for a large population of seniors.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
