Junior Product Manager

Job Description:

The Opportunity:

Aircraft Performance Group is seeking an enthusiastic, self-driven, and highly motivated Junior Product Manager to contribute to their global aircraft performance products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development:
  • Assist in translating product vision into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Support engineering, design, and QA teams for timely, high-quality product delivery
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business and customer impact
Project Management:
  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful product launches
  • Monitor and report on product performance metrics for data-driven decision making
Stakeholder Communication:
  • Communicate product status, key decisions, and risks to stakeholders
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and present product updates to senior management
Customer Focus:
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback for product improvements
  • Collaborate with customer support and sales teams to understand customer needs and pain points
  • Ensure product meets or exceeds customer expectations
Marketing and Sales Support:
  • Develop go-to-market strategies with marketing
  • Assist in creating product marketing materials and sales tools
  • Provide training and support to sales teams on new product features
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in product management or related roles (internships and co-op experience considered)
  • Aviation experience is a plus but not required
  • Understanding of product development lifecycle and methodologies
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
  • Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Aha!) and data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus
