Junior Product Manager

Aircraft Performance Group, LLC (APG) is a flight operations performance engineering firm established in 1999. They specialize in Runway Analysis, Weight and Balance, and Flight Planning solutions for the airline and corporate flight operations industry. APG provides data for a wide range of aircraft, from small turbo-prop aircraft to wide-body aircraft, and maintains a worldwide database of over 9,000 airports. Their expertise includes digitizing Airplane Flight Manuals and providing data compliant with FAR, EASA, and CASA requirements.

Aircraft Performance Group is seeking an enthusiastic, self-driven, and highly motivated Junior Product Manager to contribute to their global aircraft performance products and services.

• Assist in translating product vision into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Support engineering, design, and QA teams for timely, high-quality product delivery
• Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business and customer impact

• Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for successful product launches
• Monitor and report on product performance metrics for data-driven decision making

• Communicate product status, key decisions, and risks to stakeholders
• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare and present product updates to senior management

• Gather and analyze customer feedback for product improvements
• Collaborate with customer support and sales teams to understand customer needs and pain points
• Ensure product meets or exceeds customer expectations

• Develop go-to-market strategies with marketing
• Assist in creating product marketing materials and sales tools
• Provide training and support to sales teams on new product features

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in product management or related roles (internships and co-op experience considered)
• Aviation experience is a plus but not required
• Understanding of product development lifecycle and methodologies
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
• Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Aha!) and data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus
