Hard Beauty is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to support clinical quality, supervision,
and serve as a rendering provider within a peer coaching-oriented recovery setting. This role blends traditional clinical supervision with leadership in the ethical, equitable, and recovery-centered integration of peer recovery services while holding responsibility for services billed under the supervisor's clinical license and NPI.

The Clinical Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring high standards of care while honoring lived experience, shared decision-making, and community-based recovery. Key Responsibilities
Clinical Supervision & Recovery-Oriented Peer Integration
- Provide regular clinical supervision and oversight with integrity, accountability, and respect.
- Ensure appropriate supervision structures for peer support professionals in compliance with Colorado requirements.
- Guide the integration of peer recovery services with clinical care using strengths-based, non-clinical, and shared decision-making approaches rooted in equity and co-creation.
- Support supervisors and mentors of peer staff to reinforce trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and lived-experience-informed practices.
- Document supervision activities and promote evidence-based, recovery-oriented practices that support learning and continuous improvement.
- Assume clinical responsibility for care delivered under your supervision.
- Oversee clinical and peer documentation to support Medicaid reimbursement and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure multidisciplinary services, including peer-delivered services, meet supervision, certification, and documentation standards.
- Maintain accountability for services rendered, including compliance with payer requirements, audits, and utilization review processes.
- Collaborate with leadership to align organizational policies with Colorado Medicaid expectations while maintaining recovery-centered values.
- Act as the rendering provider using your NPI number and clinical license for Medicaid and other eligible billing,ensuring services meet all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Support confidentiality, ethical practice, and regulatory compliance within substance use disorder (SUD) and peer-inclusive service models.
- Develop and refine clinical and peer support workflows, policies, and procedures that reflect innovation, accountability, and quality.
- Standardize approaches to integrated service planning, documentation, quality assurance, and rendering provider oversight.
- Support readiness for audits, funder reviews, and compliance monitoring related to services billed under your NPI.
- Embed recovery-oriented system of care principles into organizational practices and decision-making.
- Provide onboarding and ongoing training for clinicians and peer supervisors focused on supervision expectations, documentation, and collaborative practice.
- Participate in clinical team meetings and interdisciplinary care planning that emphasize connection, shared leadership and responsible use of your clinical license.
- Consult on quality improvement initiatives and contribute to program development aligned with recovery, coaching, and whole-life wellness models.
- Provide direct clinical services as needed to support client care, program operations, and continuity of services, including clinical assessments, treatment planning, and individual and/or group therapy within scope of licensure.
- Support crisis intervention and clinical consultation as appropriate to ensure client safety and quality of care.
- Balance direct service delivery with supervisory and administrative responsibilities in alignment with organizational needs.
- Lead the development and growth of a small clinical services team, including identifying staffing needs and participating in hiring and onboarding of clinicians.
- Provide ongoing clinical supervision, consultation, and professional development support to clinical staff.
- Foster a collaborative, trauma-informed clinical culture that integrates licensed clinical services with the organization's peer coaching model.
- Ensure clinical services and supervision adhere to applicable licensure requirements, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
