Senior or Principal Systems Analyst – Dynamics

Douglas County Government invites applications for the Senior or Principal Systems Analyst – Dynamics position. The role focuses on implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance to enable purchasing, financials, and employee services across County departments.

• Apply in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance modules to develop solutions for Finance and Payroll teams.
• Analyze business scenarios, clarify requirements, and design effective software configurations.
• Support all Microsoft Dynamics Finance functions and establish best practices for data migration and workflow development.
• Maintain relationships with third-party vendors and keep current with new Dynamics releases.
• Serve as the IT application owner for assigned business applications and oversee configuration, testing, and documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Five years’ experience implementing or supporting ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, SAP, Oracle, or similar, covering core financial modules.
• Experience with platform development, configuration, and support of COTS, SaaS, or PaaS applications.
• Two years’ experience working within waterfall or agile IT project methodologies.
• Proven experience in implementing and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 systems, including data migration, system configuration, and workflow development.
• Strong SQL skills and business analysis experience preferred.
