Job SummaryManage ‘Invest’ and ‘Enhance’ client interactions and expectations surrounding long term planning and high-level value-added services. Responsible for client retention, annual increases, and enhancement penetration.
Minimum Qualifications Education- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture, Construction/Project Management, or related field
- At least 5 years related work experience
- Extensive knowledge of regional plant life
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable field experience with project estimating or design-build work
- Strong estimation background, with working knowledge of construction/installation & irrigation
- Familiar with commercial landscape equipment and their functions
- As required by state and federal law
- Valid driver license issued by the state where employed
- PMP preferred
- Strong customer service skills, with internal and external clients
- Effective oral and written communication
- Advanced knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, document management, and cost forecasting
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans/drawings
- Experience working the commercial property managers, vendors, consultants and architects a plus
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform well under deadlines
- Organizational skills
- Flexibility
- Advanced presentation skills
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of Sales Force, Microsoft Office Suite, and Project Management Software
- Intermediate to advanced experience using design software, including Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and Pro Landscape
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule format
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Ability to speak effectively before employees and clients
- Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walk
- Must be able to see at close vision, distant vision, in color, peripherally, have depth perception and have the ability to adjust focus
- Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb and balance
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and seldom lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Frequently required to use computer-based systems
- Frequently required to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Occasionally sits for long periods of time in office environment
- Occasionally works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
- Occasionally exposed to loud noise levels
- Serve as point-of-contact for high level site and project issues to expeditiously and proactively identify, address, and resolve client needs
- Act as liaison between operations and client, ensuring clarity in communication and expectations
- Conduct walkthroughs with client and other company representatives as appropriate
- Evaluate accounts and develop an effective and on-going landscape asset management plan
- Build a strong knowledge base of each client’s business, organization, and objectives
- Collaborate with Area Managers to maintain a holistic understanding of ‘Invest’ and ‘Enhance’ client sites
- Stay up-to-date on day-to-day site operations and issues to identify trends in need of comprehensive solutions
- Create, manage, and control scope of work, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
