THE ROLE
The Vice President, Enterprise Procurement, T&D is responsible for establishing, leading, and governing an enterprise-wide procurement and purchasing function that supports all MYR Group operating companies across the T&D businesses. This role provides executive leadership for strategic sourcing, enterprise purchasing leverage, supply-chain risk management, supplier strategy, and procurement governance while preserving operating-company autonomy. The role aligns enterprise procurement priorities with project execution, margin improvement, supplier reliability, and field operational needs.

- Enterprise procurement strategy:
- Develop and execute MYR Group's enterprise procurement strategy across all operating companies
- Aggregate purchasing volume across T&D businesses to leverage scale and improve pricing and availability
- Align procurement initiatives with margin improvement and risk mitigation goals
- Strategic sourcing and supplier management:
- Lead enterprise strategic sourcing initiatives for major material and service categories
- Establish national and regional Master Supply Agreements (MSAs)
- Negotiate pricing, escalation clauses, rebates, and capacity commitments
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier partnerships
- Operating company support:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to operating company purchasing and operations teams
- Provide strategic oversight for long-lead and high-risk material planning
- Provide executive support for supplier escalation and market intelligence during shortages
- Governance and compliance:
- Establish and govern enterprise procurement policies, standards, and controls
- Standardize contract templates and commercial terms
- Ensure alignment with legal, compliance, and ethical sourcing requirements
- Supply chain risk management:
- Identify and mitigate supplier, geopolitical, and capacity risks
- Develop contingency and dual-source strategies
- Data, reporting, and performance:
- Advance enterprise procurement visibility and supplier performance reporting
- Establish reporting mechanisms to measure cost savings and cost-avoidance performance
- Key performance indicators:
- Cost savings and cost-avoidance performance
- Percentage of procurement volume under MSAs
- Supplier performance and reliability
- Operating company stakeholder satisfaction
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Essential functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field location
- Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards
- 10-15 years of progressive procurement, supply-chain, or strategic sourcing leadership experience
- Executive-level experience in construction, EPC, utility, or industrial environments
- Demonstrated experience with high-value and long-lead materials
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Finance; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Strategic negotiation and contracting: Executive-level expertise in supplier negotiations, commercial terms, contract strategy, and long-term procurement agreements
