Job Description:

Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of medical records and clinical data. Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards. Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection. Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.

Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability, and evaluates the effectiveness of teaching. Recognizes the patient or designee as a full partner in providing compassionate and coordinated care based on respect for the patient’s preferences, values, and needs. Delivers relationship-based care, engaging patients in all aspects of care with respect for cultural differences and diversity.

A minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience [Required]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) [Preferred]
