Kitchen Manager - Select Charter Elementary (Positions Available for the School Year)
Job DescriptionResponsible for managing the kitchen, including food preparation, staff supervision, and training in charter schools with limited equipment (AACS, ACS, AVA, BFA, DCSMont, STEM Secondary, GVA). Develops community relations among various school and community groups.
EssentialPhysical Requirements

- Frequent squatting, reaching, stooping
Maintain meals per labor hour to meet business Profit and Loss ratios. Train and develop kitchen staff, deliver safety and HACCP training, monitor safety practices. Manage production reports, ensure regulatory compliance, oversee sanitation, and maintain financial records. Responsible for the breakfast program if applicable. Maintain food inventory and costs to meet business requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
CertificationsServ Safe Manager Certification within 6 months of hire.
EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent.
