As an Applebee's® Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for all day‑to‑day operations, ensuring guests and staff experience a passionate and exceptional environment.

• Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit.
• Cultivates a culture in accordance with the Flynn Applebee's Premier Card of our core values and beliefs.
• Ensures the immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints.
• Ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits established by Flynn Applebee's standards.
• Maintains departmental inventory levels.
• Ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks.
• Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands.
• Maintains effective safety and security programs.
• Promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Performs routine maintenance and immediately reports needed repairs.
• Promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates.
• Promotes Flynn | Applebee's training procedures for new managers.
• Helps maintain a trained staff through effective use of employment orientation, individual training sessions, employee meetings and implementation of company policy and training systems.
• Participates in constant employee development using One‑on‑One and performance documentation, contributing to completion of written evaluations.
• Assesses employee efficiency, provides fair feedback and works with employees on development.
• Monitors acceptable employee performance and documents situations requiring disciplinary or corrective action.
• Assures compliance with company policies, practices and procedures.
• Responsible for controlling cost in assigned department.
• Compliance with local, state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Drives bi‑weekly / weekly food and liquor inventories.
• Responsible for preparing and submitting accurate daily paperwork.
• Assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and Flynn Applebee's standards.
• Provides a role model for managers and employees.
• Develops self on all store related technology.
• Must be willing and able to work in all positions and assist in a team member position as needed.
• Uses the Management Development Program for continuous growth of leadership skills and proficiencies.

• At least 2‑3 years restaurant management experience.
• Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications are a plus.

Applebee's® Assistant Managers earn $19 to $23.50 per hour, approximately $54,340 to $67,200 annually based on a 50‑hour work week. Potential for monthly bonus where applicable by location. Competitive wages, profit sharing/bonus, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, paid vacation, paid sick leave, and additional PTO based on tenure are available.

• Work various shifts, including weekends.
• Stand and exert well‑paced mobility for up to ten (10) hours.
• Safely lift pots, pans, glassware, boxes, etc. up to 50 pounds.
• Read and write to facilitate communication; possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
