Customer Service Associate II

Overview

Dollar Tree is hiring a Customer Service Associate II to assist with daily store operations, from merchandising to supporting customers. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and is cross-trained to support the cash register and front-end duties as needed.

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely and in accordance with productivity standards
• Merchandising and stocking as needed
• Assisting with store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders
• Managing sales transactions while working the assigned cash register
• Maintaining cash security and protecting company assets
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• High level of integrity
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting
