Auburn Brook is looking for a highly skilled, hands‑on Maintenance Lead who takes pride in keeping a community running smoothly, safely, and looking its best every single day. What You’ll Be Doing- Lead and support the onsite maintenance team
- Oversee daily work orders, unit turns, and emergency repairs
- Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and general building systems
- Keep grounds, common areas, and exteriors clean and well‑maintained
- Complete preventative maintenance and adhere to safety procedures
- Assist with inspections, reporting, vendor coordination, and special projects
- Uphold OSHA, Fair Housing, ADA, and company policies
- Respond to on‑call rotations and emergency tenant calls
- Shovel snow and assist with winter readiness as needed
Requirements
What We’re Looking For- 1–3+ years of hands‑on maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Pool experience is a major plus
- EPA Certification required
- Ability to train, supervise, and motivate a team
- Must own standard hand tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must work well as part of a team
- Must be willing to handle on‑call rotations (emergency tenant calls)
- Must be willing to shovel snow and support seasonal property needs
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high property standards
