Accounts Apprentice

Working as Accounts Apprentice in a small finance team this is the perfect opportunity for someone who has aspirations of starting a career in finance to get their first step on the ladder. The role will involve working with the Management Accountant and Finance Controller in various areas of transactional finance and will act as a brilliant introduction to the world of finance in general.

The role involves being office based for 4 days and then having a college day where you will be undertaking AAT qualifications as provided by the business to enhance your knowledge and understanding along with your practical office work with the Management Accountant & FC. The main duties and responsibilities are to include:
Processing of purchase invoices Maintenance of purchase ledger Managing relationships with suppliers Issuing AR invoices to customers Maintenance of sales ledger Credit control in relation to customer payments Any other transactional finance duties as requested by the team This role will suit individuals who have the following skills and experiences:
Genuine interest in pursuing a career in finance Good academic background Confident personality with a drive to develop Naturally inquisitive with a “can do” attitude.
