PCV Bus Drivers

Progress your bus driving career with Arriva at our Castleford depot, where you will be at the heart of your community. As a Bus Driver you'll transport commuters, help customers, and be a highlight of someone's day.

£14.00 – £16.00 per hour. £14.00 per hour for the first 6 months of probation (must have 1 year of PCV experience in the last 5 years). £16.00 after passing probation (must have 1 year of PCV experience to move to higher rate). Pay rates reviewed through frequent pay negotiations.

5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6–8 weeks in advance so you can plan around shifts. Mornings can start from 04:00, afternoon start from 12:00, and evening from 18:00 on a rotational basis. Fixed early, afternoon or evening shifts are not offered. Overtime available by request/availability.

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Hold a PCV licence (or apply for the trainee role if you do not have one).
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test.
