Class 1 (CE) HGV Driver - Day Shift Ready for a Driving Role That Keeps You Moving?

Are you an experienced Class 1 (CE) Driver who enjoys being on the road, working with customers, and managing a varied workload?

We're looking for reliable and safety-conscious drivers to join the Logistics Team. The role involves collecting high-value stock from customer warehouses and distribution centres before returning loads to the appropriate depot within the network, ensuring goods are moved safely, efficiently, and on time.

No two days are the same. A typical shift will include multiple collections, transporting stock across the network, carrying out vehicle safety checks, and keeping transport records up to date.

A strong focus on customer service, vehicle care, and legal compliance is essential, alongside working within Drivers' Hours Regulations, tachograph requirements, and company procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing scheduled collections and returning stock to designated depots.
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
• Maintaining accurate transport records and documentation.
• Providing a professional service at customer sites.
• Keeping vehicles safe, clean, and roadworthy.

Before submitting an application, please consider the following:

• Are you 23 years of age or older?
• Do you hold a valid Class 1 (CE) HGV Licence and have at least 12 months' CE experience?
• Are your Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card valid and in date?
• Does the licence held carry no more than 6 penalty points?
• Are you comfortable managing multiple collections during a shift?
• Are you confident working within Drivers' Hours Regulations and tachograph requirements?
• Do you take pride in safety, professionalism, and attention to detail?
