LGV Driver

Join a well-established building product manufacturer as an LGV Driver.

As a market leader in their field, they are looking for an LGV Driver who will be an asset to their team, be an effective and proactive team member and work towards company expectations and  return, the company will offer a stable working environment, excellent overtime opportunities and long-term progression within the company.

Site location :
Castleford area, commutable from Normanton, Featherstone, Wakefield, Pontefract, Rothwell, Garforth, Hemsworth, Knottingley, Ossett, Morley, Dewsbury, Leeds

• Circa £43,900.
• Hours of work:
  Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 4:30pm.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x to 2.0x, depending on workload and working times.
• Long-term, stable employment in a growing organisation.
• Location, Castleford (Close to the M62).

• Valid C+E (Class 1 HGV/LGV) driving licence - essential.
• Good understanding of vehicle safety checks, load security and safe systems of work.
• Reliable, self-motivated and safety-conscious with good communication skills.

• Safely operate LGV/HGV vehicles in accordance with company procedures and road traffic legislation.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Ensure all loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
• Complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Work closely with site and transport teams to ensure efficient loading and delivery schedules.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to all health & safety procedures.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, safe and in good working condition.

This LGV Driver position would suit an experienced HGV Driver, Class 1 Driver, C+E Driver, LGV Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent overtime potential.
