Construction Labourer Material Handling

Construction Labourers support tradespeople through material handling, site preparation, cleanup, and basic construction tasks. This is a full-time, permanent position with RWC.
RWC is an established business with 45 years of experience and a reputation built on honesty, integrity, and results. Labourers assist with construction activities while following site-specific safety protocols, wearing appropriate PPE, and championing General Contractor and RWC guidelines. The work includes heavy lifting, repetitive physical tasks, and communication with team members, lead hands, and foremen.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist tradespeople with material handling, preparation, and cleanup
- Load, unload, and move construction materials
- Perform demolition, drilling, and surface preparation
- Sweep areas, remove debris, and manage waste disposal
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
- One to two years’ construction or labour-intensive experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand extended periods
- Strong work ethic and accurate instruction following
- Good vision and ability to work at heights
- Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
