Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a permanent basis in Castlegar, British Columbia. This unique and rewarding position will involve providing comprehensive all ages primary care, including individuals with mental health (MH) and substance use (SU) disorders. Additionally, the successful candidate will care for individuals who are unattached to a primary care provider or referred from the Health Connect Registry (HCR).
As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will deliver longitudinal, patient-centered care to this specialized population. While this is not an Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) clinic, you may provide OAT services to patients in your care.
This position does not include outreach services; however, you may work in partnership with outreach workers to support patients who face challenges accessing care on-site.
You will work alongside another Nurse Practitioners, allowing for collaboration within a supportive and dynamic team environment. This role offers the opportunity to engage with various community agencies and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, culturally safe care to patients.
- On-call may be required.
Salary range for the position is $76.61/hour - $84.27/hour. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant.
