arc programs is hiring a dedicated FASD Keyworker in Castlegar, serving the West Kootenays. Join a committed team providing outreach support to families dealing with FASD.
This full-time, permanent position focuses on case management and service coordination. You will enhance protective factors for young people with FASD while building family capacity for nurturing care. The Keyworker will also implement recommendations from the IHCAN Assessment and provide essential support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver FASD parenting education and community resource support
• Provide individualized counselling and education planning
• Facilitate parent/caregiver support connections
• Prepare financial reports for funding collaboration
• Maintain communication with families for ongoing assistance
Requirements:
• MSW, BSW, or equivalent with relevant experience
• Minimum 6 years combined education and clinical experience
• Clinical experience with children and youth with FASD
• Knowledge of developmental behavioural conditions
• Valid BC Driver's License and screening process completion
