Production Shift Manager

Production Manager Nottingham Shift  based
-days/afters/nights £50,000 - £55,000  shift allowance

Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to announce we are working exclusively with a global manufacturer of aerospace components to recruit a Production Manager based at their site in Nottingham. Reporting in to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager will manage a team of approx. 20-30 skilled operatives operating a 3 shift pattern:
Mornings: 6.00 am – 2.12 pm Monday-Friday Afternoons: 1.48 pm – 9.30 pm Monday-Thursday 1.48 pm – 7.00 pm Friday Nights: 9.00 pm – 6.15 am Monday-Thursday The Production Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Oversee the production process, ensuring that all products are produced on time and within budget Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the production process Develop strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs across production Create reports detailing performance metrics related to production output, cost savings initiatives, etc Use Lean Manufacturing Principles to drive out waste and increase productivity Performance management of team, ensuring company values are embedded, accountability is understood and continually promoting a safety first culture The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Demonstrable management experience within a complex manufacturing business Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and able to motivate and direct a team

Experience of deploying continuous improvement methodologies such as lean and six sigma, ideally with accreditation Must be highly organised and able to prioritise workloads Has a proven track record delivering improved operational performance in both favourable and unfavourable conditions, utilising cross-functional teams If you want to discuss this position in more detail, please contact Emma Bartholomew at Elevation Recruitment Group directly.
