Internal Sales Engineer (Valves / Precision Engineering) £55,000 - £65,000  Training  Progression  Company Benefits  31 Days Holiday  Pension Knutsford Are you a Technical Sales Engineer or Internal Sales Engineer from a Valve or Precision Engineering background, looking for an autonomous role managing key accounts and complex technical enquiries within an industry-leading valve manufacturer? Are you looking to take greater ownership of customer relationships and commercial negotiations, with specialist product training to strengthen your expertise and clear scope to progress into an Internal Sales Manager?

In this role, you will take ownership of customer accounts from initial enquiry through to quotation and order processing, acting as the principal technical and commercial contact. You will assess customer requirements, recommend suitable solutions, prepare competitive quotations and negotiate commercial terms. Working closely with engineering and production teams, you will ensure proposals are technically accurate, commercially sound and aligned with delivery requirements, while identifying opportunities to develop existing accounts.

Established for nearly 50 years, this company is a recognised specialist within the valves sector, overseeing Subsea and Pipeline projects from order through to assembly. With technologies approved for use in the pioneering Rolls-Royce SMR programme, the business is expanding its presence within the UK's nuclear energy sector while pursuing opportunities across international markets. This role would suit a Technical Sales Engineer or Internal Sales Engineer looking to bring their technical knowledge and commercial judgement to a senior position, offering ownership of customer accounts, technically complex projects and progression towards sales management.

The Role:

Manage key accounts, building and maintaining long-term customer relationships Take ownership of technical enquiries, quotes, and order processing Assess customer requirements and provide specialist advice Liaise with internal teams and external customers 40 hours per week; 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
