Our hospital is supported by four experienced doctors with special interests in surgery,dentistry,coldlasertherapy,and acupuncture

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Four
    10-hour shifts
  • Monday–Friday|8:00AM–6:00PM
  • No weekends-Work/Life Balance-YAY!!

As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in patient care and hospital operations. Your responsibilities will include hands-on nursing care, diagnostics, client communication,andassistingveterinarianswithmedicalandsurgicalprocedures.

Thisroleis ideal for an RVT who enjoys a fast-paced, high-quality general practice setting and values teamwork and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supportveterinariansindeliveringhigh-qualitymedicalcareandadvocatingforpatients
  • Assistwithmedicalprocedures,includingsurgeriesanddentalprocedures
  • Performdentalcleanings,extractions,andoral suturing
  • Properlypositionpatientsandobtaindiagnostic radiographs
  • Triagesickpatientsandprovideadvancednursingcare
  • Roomappointmentsbyobtainingpatienthistory,weights,temperatures,andvitalsigns prior to doctor exams
  • Communicateclearlywithclientsregardingtreatmentplans,patient updates,andclient education
  • Obtainandmaintainaccuratepatienthistoriesandmedical records
  • Place

    IV catheters,collectbloodsamples,performcystocentesis,place urinary catheters, and administer IV, IM, and SQ injections
  • Monitoranesthesiausingappropriatemonitoring equipment
  • Maintaincleanandorganizedexamrooms,treatment areas,and laboratories
  • Mentorand supportfellowteammemberstopromotecollaborationandprofessional growth

Qualifications & Skills

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (required)
  • Strongtechnicalskills,including

    IVcatheterplacement,blood collection,and anesthesia monitoring
  • Abilitytomultitaskandremaincalmunder pressure
  • Excellentverbalandwrittencommunication skills
