As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in patient care and hospital operations. Your responsibilities will include hands-on nursing care, diagnostics, client communication,andassistingveterinarianswithmedicalandsurgicalprocedures.
Thisroleis ideal for an RVT who enjoys a fast-paced, high-quality general practice setting and values teamwork and growth.
- Supportveterinariansindeliveringhigh-qualitymedicalcareandadvocatingforpatients
- Assistwithmedicalprocedures,includingsurgeriesanddentalprocedures
- Performdentalcleanings,extractions,andoral suturing
- Properlypositionpatientsandobtaindiagnostic radiographs
- Triagesickpatientsandprovideadvancednursingcare
- Roomappointmentsbyobtainingpatienthistory,weights,temperatures,andvitalsigns prior to doctor exams
- Communicateclearlywithclientsregardingtreatmentplans,patient updates,andclient education
- Obtainandmaintainaccuratepatienthistoriesandmedical records
- Place
IV catheters,collectbloodsamples,performcystocentesis,place urinary catheters, and administer IV, IM, and SQ injections - Monitoranesthesiausingappropriatemonitoring equipment
- Maintaincleanandorganizedexamrooms,treatment areas,and laboratories

Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Veterinary Technician (required)
- Strongtechnicalskills,including
IVcatheterplacement,blood collection,and anesthesia monitoring - Abilitytomultitaskandremaincalmunder pressure
- Excellentverbalandwrittencommunication skills
