CYS - GCAP Joint Venture Headquarters - Software Asset Specialist

Location: Catania

Overview  In this role you will support the governance, accuracy, and optimization of software assets across the organisation. You will work closely with the IT Asset Manager to execute SAM processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and secure asset management. You will help identify opportunities to rationalise software usage and improve lifecycle management. You will contribute to continuous improvement of SAM tooling and reporting, enabling better value from technology investments.

This position sits within the GCAP HQ, contributing to strategic software asset control in a multi‑jurisdictional environment.

Maintain compliance with organisational, regulatory, and security standards across all software assets, including those requiring SC clearance
Monitor and optimise software utilisation, identifying opportunities for rationalisation, cost optimisation, and improved lifecycle management
Contribute to continuous process improvement, innovation, and the enhancement of SAM tooling and reporting
Responsabilità   2-5 years of experience in software asset management
Hands‑on experience with Service Now, including SAM‑related modules or workflows
ITIL Foundation desirable
