Essential Functions

  • Ensure bathrooms are clean and fully stocked with guest supplies.
  • Ensure beds are properly made with appropriate clean linen and pillows.
  • Dust and clean walls, windows, and inside of sliding doors.
  • Report matters needing maintenance and items that need to be removed from rooms, such as refrigerators, roll‑aways, and cribs.
  • Complete special projects of a deep‑cleaning nature.
  • Ensure the linen cart is stocked with needed supplies and tools.
  • Vacuum, mop and clean floors.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guest service requests.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas—including guest‑room floors, hallways, public areas, stairwells, linen closets, vending areas, and foyers.
  • Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
  • Remove all dirty terry and linen and replace with clean per the designated layout.
  • Replace all guest‑room items required by SOP and room type.
  • Remove all trash, dust, debris, and foreign particles from furniture, drapes, mini‑bar, doors, walls, and fixtures.
  • Complete recurring projects to ensure rooms meet housekeeping department cleanliness standards.
  • Refurnish rooms with supplies, towels, etc., as required.
  • Return and restock cart at the end of shift.
  • Turn over any lost and found items from guest rooms to the supervisor.
  • Follow 4‑Keys service standards, standard operating procedures, and safety standards.
  • Follow safety and security procedures.
  • Work cohesively with co‑workers and all departments as part of a team.
  • Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve operations standards.
  • Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
  • Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.
Skills and Abilities
  • Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel.
  • Prioritize tasks efficiently with limited supervision.
  • Be detail‑oriented and able to multi‑task efficiently.
  • Speak,, and communicate in the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Have excellent communication, follow‑up, and organizational skills.
  • Be able to push, pull, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Follow safety requirements for PPE and use of required tools and equipment.
  • Perform job with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; prioritize, organize, and follow‑up.
  • Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
  • Follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co‑workers as part of a team.
  • Exert physical effort in transporting up to 50 pounds.
  • Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co‑workers to their understanding.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Minimum 3 months experience in housekeeping or relevant experience.
  • Optional:
    Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to hear, understand, and communicate orally and in writing to staff, vendors, and guests in normal in‑person and phone conversations.
  • Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, stoop, and kneel.
  • Ascend and descend a ladder.
