Occupational Therapy Assistant
Summary: Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT, maintaining positive interactions with patients and facilities, adhering to all regulations and guidelines. Provide quality patient care, supervise rehab techs as required, and manage cases effectively. Maintain professional conduct reflecting Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality and service.
Essential Duties:- Under supervision, enhance patients' functional abilities and skills.
- Develop and support a strong occupational therapy assistant program.
- Improve clinical, professional, and management skills through ongoing education and collaboration.
- Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed on relevant issues.
- Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and delivery models to provide compliant and effective care.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively in English in all professional interactions.
