Job Summary:

We are seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team! As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will handle a manageable caseload of patients seeking treatment and support to overcome various addiction issues. Your role will involve supporting and uplifting clients, offering resources, creating and implementing personalized treatment plans, and identifying underlying issues contributing to substance abuse. The ideal candidate is compassionate, has excellent communication skills, and experience working with individuals struggling with addiction.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a manageable caseload of patients
• Conduct group sessions
• Identify core issues contributing to substance abuse
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Support and uplift patients and their families to foster lasting change

Qualifications:

• State licensure preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate attitude with an upbeat, positive personality
• Experience working with substance abuse is desired
