The Ideal Urgent Care Veterinarian
- Excited to work with referring veterinarians and our Emergency and Critical Care department as a team to provide exceptional service to clients, patients, and referring doctors.

- Internship trained or 2-3 years of experience preferred.
Experience & Skills Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the state you will work in, prior to your start date.
- Active DEA and MD CDS license or eligibility for licensure.
Role
- In this position, you will play a vital role in easing the strain on our local emergency hospitals by providing immediate care for a variety of cases.
- Our urgent care veterinarians see both minor emergencies and more critical cases, including:
- Minor emergencies that are not life‑threatening: lacerations, limping or painful pets, hypersensitivity reactions, vomiting and/or diarrhea without significant dehydration, ear infections, urinary tract infections, and FLUTD/FUS patients.
- More critical cases: trauma, allergic reactions, respiratory distress, toxic ingestions, urethral obstructions, and patients needing stabilization before transfer to specialty hospitals.
- Referrals from general practice veterinarians who cannot see their patients in a timely manner, within the scope of care we provide.
We are open Monday – Sunday 10:00am - 10:00pm
Serving Catonsville, Glen Burnie, Pasadena, Columbia, Baltimore, and surrounding areas.

Compensation is negotiable, with a base range of $155,000-$175,000/year. The actual salary offered will consider credentials, experience, and location.
