Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a long‑term P&C MOD project commencing in June 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high‑profile defence‑sector scheme with a strong pipeline of work.

• Oversee all on‑site construction activities and ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring productivity, sequencing, and performance targets are met
• Lead daily site briefings, coordination meetings, and progress reviews
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in line with MOD requirements
• Monitor programme progress and report delays, risks, and mitigation measures to the project team
• Manage site logistics, material deliveries, storage, and access arrangements
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure works comply with project specifications and standards
• Maintain accurate site records including RAMS, permits, site diaries, and progress reports
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, designers, and client representatives
• Manage snagging, defect resolution, and handover processes
• Ensure compliance with BPSS clearance requirements and security protocols

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects
• Strong background in steel frame structures, including residential steel frame projects
• Familiarity with MOD / secure environment project delivery
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• CSCS card (Black/Manager level preferred)
• First Aid at Work
• BPSS clearance (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
