The Treatment Coordinator plays a key role in supporting patient care and practice operations by managing patient scheduling, coordinating patient flow, and presenting financial treatment plans. This position serves as a bridge between patients, clinical teams, and administrative staff tohelpensure a smooth, informed, and positive patient experience while supporting office efficiency and production goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate patient scheduling tosupport provider productivity, hygiene flow, and overall practice efficiency.
- Prepare, present, and review financial treatment plans with patients, ensuring clear understanding of recommended care and financial expectations.
- Follow up with patientsregardingproposed treatment plans andassistwith scheduling the nextsteps.
- Verify insurance benefits, coverage, and fee schedules to provideaccurateestimates and breakdowns.
- Communicate treatment fees, document financial arrangements, and confirm patient payment commitments.
- Assist patients with insurance forms and ensureaccurateand complete documentation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patient questionsregardingtreatment, scheduling, and financial concerns.
- Maintainaccurateand up-to-date patient records within practice management software.
- Collaborate closely with dentists, hygienists, office managers, and patient coordinators to ensure seamless patient flow.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of experience in a dental office or healthcare administrative role preferred.
- Working knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and insurance processes.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix,Eaglesoft, Open Dental) is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
