Staff Accountant - Scenic Southern Utah
Location:
Milford, Utah. Partial remote after initial training period.
Schedule:
Full-Time, potential to work partial remote (2 days a week after training).
Reports to:
Finance Manager.
- Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with GAAP.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and internal reporting.
- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Track capital expenditures, inventory, and fixed assets.
- Collaborate with procurement and operations for accurate cost allocations.
- Assist with payroll and benefits reporting.
- Prepare audit schedules and support external audit requests.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Mining or other Cost Accounting environments.
