The Tony‑award winning UTAH SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL, a professional theater company in residence at Southern Utah University, is accepting applications for Production Staff for the 2026 season. The Utah Shakespeare Festival will produce an eight‑show repertory season and three Green Shows across four venues in the summer/fall of 2026.
Position details below. Contract dates vary by position. Most Artisan contracts begin early May and end early July. Apprentice/Run Crew contracts begin early and end early September or early October depending on assignment.

Essential Functions- Properties Artisan:
- Responsible for the building and fabrication of stage and rehearsal properties for all productions as assigned.
- Works with the prop team to complete shop improvement and organizational projects as assigned.
- Contracts run from May 3 to July 4th.
- Properties Apprentice/Stage Crew:
- Responsible for the building and fabrication of stage and rehearsal properties for all productions as assigned.
- Works with the prop team to complete shop improvement and organizational projects as assigned.
- Responsible for running, storage, and maintenance of props for assigned productions, as well as assisting with changeovers as assigned.
- Contracts run from May 3 to Sept 7th or Oct 7th depending on theater assignment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Prior experience in props construction or other related technical theater field is encouraged.
