The Department of Engineering and Technology at Southern Utah University (SUU) invites applications for a faculty position within the Electrical Engineering program at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor. This is a full-time faculty position to begin in Fall 2026 and is open to candidates with either a Master’s degree (for a non‑tenure‑track appointment) or a Ph.D. (for a tenure‑track appointment) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
The successful candidate must have a strong commitment and ability to teach at the undergraduate level. This position includes benefits that may include relocation expenses for hired candidates for on‑site employment.
First consideration date: 12/04/2025.

No such expectation exists for non‑tenure‑track faculty. Faculty actively participate and collaborate with the department to enhance and maintain a robust curriculum based on continual program evaluation from internal review, industry advisory board feedback, student feedback, and accreditation review input.
Faculty will also be expected to participate fully in accreditation review and continuous improvement activities. All faculty must complete service activities within the department, college, and/or university.
