Job Title: Youth Support Mentor

Compensation: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

Job DescriptionThe Youth Support Mentor is responsible for supervising residents and ensuring their safety while building a positive rapport. Responsibilities include helping residents meet daily goals, leading skill-building groups, providing individual support, and maintaining behavior boundaries. This role also includes documentation, communicating resident needs to the clinical team, and supporting personal care and safety in a residential environment.
Duties & Responsibilities- Mentor and assist residents in achieving treatment goals.
- Support daily living needs including cooking, cleaning, and general maintenance.
- Encourage community involvement and participation in off-site activities.
- Maintain awareness of resident location and activity at all times; follow elopement protocols when needed.
- Enforce house rules and support consistent behavioral expectations.
- Facilitate daily routines such as chores, deep cleaning, meals, laundry, groups, and events.
- Provide safe transportation for residents to appointments and community outings.
- Report and respond to crises such as aggression, elopement, or suicidal behavior.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain accurate documentation and checklists.
- Assess and support functional living skill development with individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor independent living progress and support community integration.
- Collaborate with schools, families, landlords, employers, and transport providers.
- Provide crisis intervention and communicate updates with internal and authorized external providers.
- Document services and client progress promptly and accurately.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow federal, state, and company compliance guidelines.
- Attend all required team meetings, planning sessions, and training programs.

- Required: High school diploma or equivalent and 6–12 months of experience with autism, ODD, or conduct disorder.
- Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher in sociology, psychology, social work, or human services. Experience in behavior analysis is a plus.
