Residential Care Manager – In-Home Caregiving
Chrysalis is seeking a full-time Residential Care Manager for In-Home Caregiving. We provide services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and are looking for caring individuals who share our values of safety, respect, mentoring, accountability, and fun. This entry‑level swing or graveyard shift position starts at a competitive wage of $19.50‑$22.50 per hour, with health insurance and other benefits for full‑time employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the residential program, supervising, instructing, and modeling standards for residential support staff.
- Maintain program quality, implement person‑centered plans, and ensure residents’ medical, financial, and recreational needs are met.
- Coordinate with schools, state workers, families, therapists, court, and placement agencies to support residents’ success.
- We ensure that all Chrysalis positions provide appropriate support for individuals, promoting independence and applying the Chrysalis values:
Respect, Safety, Fun, Mentoring, and Accountability.
- 20 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED, with experience in the disability field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills, ability to prioritize work, and complete program documentation accurately and timely.
- Good judgment and ability to handle crisis situations.
- Public relations skills for working with outside professionals and state employees.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs.
- Effective personnel and program issue management and continual program improvement.
- Experience and/or equivalent education working with handicapped individuals.
- Knowledge of person‑centered plans and ability to develop and write effective goals.
- Experience supervising employees.
- Understanding of DSPD policies.
- Good judgment for crisis situation handling.
- General writing skills and articulation on a variety of issues.
- Positive personnel management and staff communication.
- Conduct House and Manager meetings.
- Public relations skills with medical, professional, and state employees.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate people’s needs.
- Financial statement balancing and financial folder maintenance.
