Job Title: Graphic Technical Center Manager (In‑Plant Ink Operations)

Job Type: Full‑time

Location: Cedar City, Utah

Job Summary: The Graphic Technical Center Manager is responsible for managing the Customer’s Graphical Technical Center processes and providing technical support to ensure products and services meet customer requirements. This role oversees operations to achieve customer success while maintaining performance targets, supervising personnel, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Achieve a zero‑workplace‑injury and incident record by maintaining a clean and organized workplace using Lean manufacturing and 5S techniques; comply with all safety requirements, including attendance at monthly safety training and the use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain proper inventory levels to support customer press schedules while also supporting operational inventory targets.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for weighing, dispensing, and blending inks to meet customer color and overall quality control standards/specifications.
• Perform color matching, including maintenance of customer formulation files.
• Develop and maintain a plan to work off press returns and obsolete materials while maintaining accurate records.
• Coordinate scheduling of work and assignments for all personnel to ensure Ink‑To‑Press is maintained and serviced, while attempting to align with overtime cost reductions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot customer press/ink‑related issues.
• Document and communicate technical issues to the Technical Service Representative.
• Maintain an action register on customer/ink‑room process improvements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate manufacturing and quality control records to meet production dates per customer schedules, including ink adjustments at press, press downtime documentation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Fill in as needed to cover Graphic Technician responsibilities.
• Maintain Graphic Technician performance records, approve ADP timecards, and recommend promotions and compensation increases for direct reports.

Base Salary Range: USD $78,000 to $98,000 annually
