GTC Manager (Graphic Technical Center Manager)

Manage the Customer Graphical Technical Center Processes and provide Technical Support to the Customer for products and services to achieve Customer success. Maintain and support the Flint Group performance targets of the location.

• Achieve a zero-workplace injury and incident record by maintaining a clean and organized workplace using Lean manufacturing and 5S techniques.
• Comply with all customer safety requirements, including attendance in monthly safety training and wearing of personal protection equipment.
• Maintain proper inventory levels to support the Customer Press schedules and support the Group Days on Hand Inventory Targets.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures in the weigh up, dispensing and blending of inks to meet customer color and overall QC standards/specifications.
• Maintain color matching, including maintenance of customer formulation files.
• Develop and maintain a plan to work off press returns and obsolete materials and perform appropriate record‑keeping functions.
• Coordinate scheduling of work and assignments for all GTC personnel to ensure Ink press is maintained and serviced.
• Provide Technical Support/troubleshoot customer Press / Ink related issues.
• Document and communicate technical issues to Flint Group Technical Service Representative.
• Maintain Action Register on Customer/Ink Room process improvements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate manufacturing and quality control records to meet production dates per customer’s schedule, ink adjustments at press, press downtime documents, root cause and corrective actions.
• Fill in as needed to cover Graphic Technician responsibilities.
• Maintain Graphic Technician performance records, approve ADP time‑cards and recommend promotion and compensation increase for direct reports.

• Degree/Major with University and Completion Year.
• Total years of experience as GTC Manager.
• Total years of experience in Printing / Ink / Manufacturing.
• Years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing Graphic Technical Centers or Ink Rooms.
• Experience with ink formulation, blending, and color matching.
• Experience supporting printing press operations.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing / 5S.
• Experience managing inventory and DOH targets.
• Experience maintaining SOPs and quality documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting press or ink‑related issues onsite.
• Experience supervising technicians and approving timecards.
• Familiar with ADP or similar workforce systems.
• Willingness to fill in for hands‑on Graphic Technician duties when required.
