GTC Manager
Location: Cedar City, Utah
Overview: Manage the Customer Graphical Technical Center Processes and provide technical support to the customer, deliver products and services to achieve customer success, while maintaining and supporting performance targets of the location.
Responsibilities- Achieve a zero workplace injury and incident record by maintaining a clean and organized workplace using Lean Manufacturing and 5‑S techniques.
- Comply with all company and customer safety requirements, including attendance in monthly safety training and wearing of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain proper inventory levels to support customer press schedules and on‑hand inventory targets.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for weighing, dispensing, and blending inks to meet customer color and overall QC standards/specifications.
- Color match and maintain customer formulation files.
- Develop and maintain a plan to work off press returns and obsolete materials, and perform appropriate record‑keeping functions.
- Coordinate scheduling of work and assignments for all GTC personnel to ensure press is maintained, serviced, and aligned with overtime cost reductions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot customer press/ink‑related issues.
- Document and communicate technical issues to the Flint Group Technical Service Representative.
- Maintain the Action Register on customer/ink room process improvements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate manufacturing and quality‑control records to meet production dates per customer’s schedule, including ink adjustments at press, press downtime documents, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Fill in as needed to cover graphic technician responsibilities.
- Maintain graphic technician performance records, approve ADP timecards, and recommend promotion and compensation increases for direct reports.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of related experience.
- $78,000 to $98,000 annually.
- Full benefits, including medical, vision, and 401(k) plans.
