Position SummaryThe individual in this role will work closely with UCRH staff and the Pre‑Dental Program Coordinator to ensure the smooth functioning of the day‑to‑day operations of the Rural Dental Recruitment Program. This position plays a crucial part in supporting the program's mission to recruit and retain future dental professionals in rural communities. The role also includes completing specific tasks and assignments aligned with the work plan requirements outlined by the program's funding source.
The position is remote and requires traveling between 18 rural counties in Utah.
- Assist UCRH staff with administrative tasks, including scheduling, organizing meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation related to the program.
- Collaborate with the Pre‑Dental Program Coordinator to support recruitment efforts, track program participants, and ensure the delivery of necessary resources and information to students and staff.
- Maintain communication with dental schools, program participants, and rural health clinics to facilitate program objectives and strengthen partnerships.
- Monitor program timelines and ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with the established work plan and funding guidelines.
- Provide logistical support for outreach activities, pre‑dental recruitment events, and community‑based initiatives aimed at promoting the program's goals.
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data on program performance and outcomes, contributing to progress reports required by the funding source.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to promote awareness of the program and its impact on rural dental recruitment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with program participants, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet the program's objectives.
- Familiarity with administrative tasks and project management.
- Experience in healthcare is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with in the field of dentistry.
