Hourly Compensation: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour for an RN and $25.00 to $29.00 per hour for an LPN.

Havenwood Academy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. We are a 50-bed Residential Treatment Center serving adolescent females with early childhood trauma. Our mission is to provide world-class trauma treatment to those who wouldn’t otherwise receive care.

This role is distinct from a traditional hospital setting; it is comparable to a School Nurse position within a therapeutic, Joint Commission accredited residential facility.

• Job Type: Part-Time (approx. 20 to 30 hours per week)
• On-Call: Rotating weekly on-call responsibilities are required.
• Physical Setting: Inpatient, JCAHO Accredited Facility.

Key Responsibilities

The medical team is composed of a nurse who works collaboratively to ensure exceptional client care. Your duties will focus on proactive health management and acute needs triage:

• Medical Coordination: Coordinate, facilitate, and manage all ongoing and necessary external medical care appointments and treatments for clients.
• Triage and Acute Care: Triage and assess client medical needs promptly, determining the appropriate level of care (in-house vs. external treatment).
• Medication Management: Ensure all client medications are accurately available, organized, and dispensed at residential homes as needed, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Health Maintenance: Accurately test and record patient vitals and other necessary health metrics at intervals required by state licensing and accreditation standards.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date client medical records, demographic information, and insurance documents.
• Professional Standards: Adhere to all professional standards required by your RN license, maintain strict patient confidentiality (HIPAA), and exemplify appropriate therapeutic boundaries with clients.

What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications)

• License/Certification: Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (Required).
