Assistant Event Coordinator

Western Home Communites is seeking and Assistant Event Coordinator to play a vital role on our event center. If you are passionate about creating and supporting memorable experiences apply today!

DUTIES:

-Assists with coordinating and executing events for the Diamond Event Center and catering needs out of the Jorgensen Plaza kitchen.

-Assists with the planning, preparation, organization, staffing, and execution of events.

- Actively recruits for new events and booking for the Diamond Event Center.

-Taking notes for events to ensure events goes smoothly and to the client's wants, as well as billing for completed events in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

-Must have a valid driver's license.

-Must be 18 years of age or older.

-Past experience with event management, banquet, and large-scale events preferred—strong customer service background required.

-Ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor when conducting business within Western Home Communities and in the community.

- Must be able to read, speak, and write fluently.

-Regular attendance is required and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
