Assistant Professor of Instruction – Applied Voice
Position:
Two‑year term Assistant Professor of Instruction in Applied Voice, beginning August 2026. Following the initial term, the position may be considered for renewal.
Full Consideration Date: December 22, 2025
Responsibilities- Teach applied voice lessons to undergraduate vocal music majors, graduate vocal music majors, and undergraduate non‑majors.
- Teach studio class and seminar. Additional teaching assignments will depend on departmental need and area(s) of expertise.
- Participate in departmental service responsibilities as required.
- Recruit music majors into the University’s music program.
- Master’s degree in vocal music performance or a closely related field.
- Successful college‑level teaching experience of applied voice lessons.
- Doctoral degree in vocal music performance or a closely related field.
- At least three years of successful college‑level teaching of applied voice lessons.
