• Minimum starting wage $19.00/hr., plus $1.50/hr. shift premium, may be higher depending upon background and experience.
• Second Shift - we are an air conditioned facility

• Monday through Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am
• Overtime Monday through Thursday 3:30pm to 3:00am, Friday 3:30pm to 9:30pm
• Overtime is posted the Wednesday before it is required.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the safety and quality programs by following all accompanying rules and established processes.
• Installs electrical wiring and components, under the direction of the Electrician or Maintenance Supervisor, to meet code requirements.
• Inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
• Works with machine operators to troubleshoot problems with equipment.
• Works with equipment manufacturers and vendors to maintain our equipment at its peak performance level.
• Work with outside contractors.
• Will be on call as needed.
• Attend technical schools and other training events as needed to maintain necessary skills.
• Works with all other departments as needed.
• Helps to rig machinery to be moved.
• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
• Observes and listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors, machine operators or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections in machine performance.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance.
• Studies prints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine type and dimensions of metal stock required.
• Helps in development, design and construction of new equipment and processes.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
• Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
• Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
• Performs other routine duties.

Skills/Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools and maintenance specific equipment.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper and micrometer.
• Ability to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa.
• Ability to convert metric to English.
• Provide high quality work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.
• Speak, write and comprehend conversational English.
• Strong attention to detail.
