* The center operates during the following hours:

** Sunday:
** 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

+  
** Monday:
** 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

+  
** Tuesday:
** 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM

+  
** Wednesday:
** 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM

+  
** Thursday:
** 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM

+  
** Friday:
** 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM

** Saturday:
** 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

** What You'll Be Doing*
* As a Plasma Center Nurse, you will play an important role in maintaining donor safety, evaluating donor eligibility, and supporting daily clinical operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

+ Conduct donor health assessments, review medical histories, and perform physical examinations to determine plasma donation eligibility.

+ Evaluate laboratory results and communicate findings according to established medical protocols.

+ Monitor donors for adverse reactions and provide appropriate nursing interventions.

+ Respond to medical emergencies while following established clinical procedures.

+ Collaborate with physicians and center leadership regarding donor safety and medical concerns.

+ Provide education to donors regarding the plasma donation process and health requirements.

+ Assist with employee health initiatives, including seasonal vaccination programs.

+ Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and safety standards.

+ Promote a positive, professional, and welcoming environment for donors and team members.

** What We're Looking For*
* + Current, active  
** LPN or LVN license
** in Iowa.

+ Graduate of a state-recognized nursing program.

+ Minimum of  
** two years of clinical or hospital nursing experience** .

+ Current CPR and AED certification.

+ Ability to meet applicable state requirements for basic IV therapy.

+ Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

+ Ability to respond confidently to donor reactions and medical situations.

+ Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.

+ Willingness to complete required specialized training.

Experience in plasma donation, outpatient care, occupational health, or other regulated healthcare environments is a plus.
