All About General Merchandise:
Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store.

Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Experience in retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement
• Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks and assist guests with their needs
• Support tasks such as receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas
• Operate power equipment when certified
• Execute processes including price changes, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed
• Learn how procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to solve guest issues
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking and packing orders, delivering pickup orders)
• All other duties based on business needs

• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
• Remain focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb ladders as required
• Move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance
• Able to work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties
• Remain mobile for scheduled shift duration
