Position: Facilities Mechanic III - Housing and Dining Facilities

Facilities Mechanic III - Housing and Dining Facilities

Full Consideration Date: 1/9/2026

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, performs plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and all other duties needed to maintain student apartments, residence halls and dining centers.

Qualifications

Must possess a basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, maintenance of steam and mechanical equipment; and must have four years of work experience in the listed crafts, including apprenticeship or technical training. At least two years of that experience must be in the same craft. State of Iowa license (Electrical, Plumbing or Mechanical) preferred.
