Requirements What You’ll Be Doing

As a Route Driver, you’ll be responsible for timely and accurate deliveries while providing professional and engaging service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Class A Drivers with be equipped with a 48’ or 53’ trailer
• Operating Class B straight trucks with lift-gates (up to 28’) with air brakes
• Non-CDL Drivers will be equipped with a straight truck 28’ or less, cab over or step van
• Performing pre- and post-trip inspections and reporting vehicle concerns
• Securing loads and ensuring safe transport of products
• Delivering products according to customer instructions and verifying counts
• Using mobile technology to capture proof of delivery and ELD compliance
• Occasionally collecting payments or picking up products/equipment
• Participating in weekly driver meetings

What We’re Looking for in a CDL A or B Driver

• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Current Fed Med card or obtain within 90 days of hire

What We’re Looking for in All Drivers (CDL A or B Non-CDL)

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. (by hand or using a dolly) and climb stairs or enter/exit trucks regularly
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic math and technology proficiency
• Haz Mat certification preferred, or able to obtain within 90 days of hire. The company reimburses hazmat certification
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings

Safety is Nassco’s top priority. Expect a mix of indoor and outdoor conditions, including exposure to weather elements and various odors related to cleaning products and equipment.
