RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is a growing powerhouse in the Trucking Industry. RSS has been in business for over 31 years, and has nearly 400 team members located in 15 states. We are currently looking to expand our team in the Cedar Falls, IA area.

A Professional Yard Driver is responsible for safely moving and backing semi trailers at a major distribution center. They are an integral part of keeping the distribution center flowing.

Must have experience driving and backing a 53’ semi trailer. Previous yard driving experience, ability to back into tight spots, good time management, attention to detail, calm under pressure, physically fit, and a safety mindset.

• Full time work.
• Pay increase after 90 days and 1 year of employment (based on performance/attendance).

• Safely maneuver 53’ semi trailers: backing, dropping and pulling trailers to/from dock doors and parking them onsite.
• Safely enter/exit switcher truck multiple times an hour.
• Place and remove wheel chocks and Salvo locks. Lift and open doors.
• No loading/unloading merchandise.
• Follow safety procedures.
• No CDL required but must have 53’ trailer experience.

• Saturday, Sunday, Monday: 6PM-6AM

• Full time work.
• OT after 40 hours, paid at time and half.
• Consistent schedule, stay home daily, never leave the yard.
