Body Technician

Body Technicians perform collision repair work on cars, trucks, and other motor vehicles, with a focus on quality, timeliness, and safety.

• Disassemble vehicle to identify damaged components.
• Plan auto body repair steps according to the repair plan.
• Repair or replace damaged body components.
• Grind, file, sand, weld, and cut as needed.
• Thoroughly inspect and test repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete and vehicle is ready for paint.
• Comply with all TCC safety standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Exceptional auto body repair skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.
• Ability to read service and repair manuals.
• Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders.
• Must be 18 years or older.

• I-CAR certified preferred.
• Three years of related experience.

• Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
• Must be able to inspect vehicle to determine repairs needed.
• Good vision to inspect repair work.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
• Must be able to reach below and above shoulder level.

Location: Lancaster, TX

Salaried: $61,500.00–$86,000.00
